Medicine Cabinet Makeover
A self-care wellness alternative.
Plants.
10 ways to “makeover” your medicine cabinet.
YES! This is my real medicine cabinet. Before doTerra essential oils I think toothpaste was the winner in this cabinet. There may have been an array of different skin care products I would try and not likely stick with. In the past year I have found so many wonderful and often miraculous uses for these oils. As you are reading this now you may be thinking “what can she possibly using all these oils for?”
Allow me.
- Cedarwood/Has a soothing, grounding effect on the mind and emotions and helps skin recover quickly.
- Frankincense/ (My favorite) Perhaps one of the oldest and most precious of all oils. Helps build a healthy immune system and promotes cellular health. I have found it helps anything and everything feel better.
- Lavender/ This oil has a lovely aroma (use it on my wrists) and also helps soothe sunburns and diaper rash.(for my friends obviously!)
- Lemon/ Known for it’s cleansing benefits, internal and external. It’s an uplifting aroma. I use it in my water bottle daily.
- Peppermint/Promotes healthy respiratory function and helps to sooth stomach upsets. I gargle with it too.
- Breathe/Relieves symptoms of stuffy nose and allergies. A modern day plant based Vicks.
- On Guard/The super hero of oils. I use it everyday. It replaces antiinflammatory drugs and cleans your mouth and gums. Disinfects your body.
- Deep Blue/ This rub is a Bengay made from plant extracts. It’s powerful for muscles aches and it works great for headaches.
- Verage Skin Care/ The plant extracts make this line the cleanest, most natural feeling and smelling skin care I have ever tried. It works.
- Serenity/Supports restful sleep. This is my evening yoga oil I use in my classes. It has a soothing smell and calming effects.
These are just some of the oils in my Medicine Cabinet Makeover. I’ll share the rest with you in another post.
I’ve always been proactive in my health and I’ve always looked for alternatives to Pharmaceuticals. I just didn’t know where to get the information. Until now.
